The Santa Fe Amateur Radio Club from Olathe will be hosting the 2025 ARRL Field Day event at Ensor Park and Museum located at 18995 W 183rd St, Olathe, KS 66062.  The park is where the Marshall Ensor homestead was located during his life and while he was a teacher at Olathe High School, now Olathe North High School.

Avoid US HWY 169 south of 175th street. Use Ridgeview off of 175th street to access 183rd street.

Talk In will be on the Gardner 147.195 RPTR.  

     The ARRL Field Day event will be on June 28 and June 29, 2025.  The operators will begin making contacts at 1pm, June 28 and will operate until 3pm, June 29.

     The object of Field Day is to work as many stations as possible on the 160, 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 Meter HF bands, as well as all bands 50 MHz and above, and in doing so to learn to operate in abnormal situations in less than optimal conditions. A premium is placed on developing skills to meet the challenges of emergency preparedness as well as to acquaint the general public with the capabilities of Amateur Radio.

     The public is invited to visit the park and see the radio operators make contacts in North America and also foreign countries which are called DX stations.  Hope to see you there.
